چکیده
In this work, MnO 2 -SnO nanocomposite based below lower exposure limit (0.5–2.0 vol%) sensing device for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is reported. The synthesized material highly crystalline with an average crystallite size of 16.786 nm, confirmed by the X-ray diffraction pattern. Williamson-Hall plot shows that induced strain 2.627 × 10 ?4 , present in nanocomposite, lies between strains both its constituents. XRD pattern contains cubic phase and tetragonal SnO . Tauc optical energy band gap 2, 3.407 eV, 3.037 3.202 eV respectively. surface morphological investigation brush-like structure which enhances sensor performance providing activation sites. dispersive (EDS) spectrum found materials are pure because other peaks not observed. functional group analysis using FTIR to be Sn–O Mn–O vibration bands existed. highest response was 2.42 2.0 vol% whereas a concentration 0.5 observed 1.44. fast recovery were to17.30 23.25 s respectively LPG.

A Consequence Analysis of the Explosion of Spherical Tanks Containing Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG)
A consequence analysis was performed in one of the gas refineries in Iran to investigate the risks andpotential losses resulted from accidents. Specifically, the consequences of an explosion in LPGspherical tanks were modeled using PHAST and MATLAB software. In this paper, three methods ofcalculation of PHAST software TNT, multi-energy, and BST were used. The results showed th...

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is being developed as a heavy vehicle fuel. The reason for developing LNG is to reduce our dependency on imported oil by eliminating technical and costs barriers associated with its usage. The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) has a program, currently in its third year, to develop and advance costeffective technologies for operating and refueling natural gas–fueled hea...
متن کاملUse of Inducers in Liquefied Petroleum Gas and Condensate Service for Better Performance
The inducer is a very small booster pump, lifting the suction pressure to a sufficient level for the main conventional impeller. By adding the inducer to high speed centrifugal pumps, NPSHr can be reduced to a great extent. Liquid with high gas content can be pumped successfully with inducer equipped pumps. Even low NPSHr allows a smaller, higher speed low horsepower pump, saving energy and cap...

Temperature distribution is a critical indicator of the health condition for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) storage tanks. In this paper, we present a large-scale wireless temperature monitoring system to evaluate the safety of LPG storage tanks. The system includes wireless sensors networks, high temperature fiber-optic sensors, and monitoring software. Finally, a case study on real-world LPG s...
